Thank you so much for a great Kite Lesson! Your company is very well organized and I feel well worth the money for great service.

Hello all, aav

I am leaving today Aruba and I wanted to thank you again very very much for this wonderful introduction into kitesurfing - you did a great job all of you! Yesterday I passed by the bay on the boat and caught a nice action picture - I attached it,

All the best,
Julia

Hi Wim --thanks so much for doing a great job on the windsurf packing up. Paul delivered the package right on time--and we (that is mostly alan) dragged it through all the various stops --we put on some cord to help it along--it was really funny--I wished I had taken pictures of it! A friend with a truck picked us up at the airport, and now the windsurfer is safe and sound on our basement floor--alan and I are still somewhat mentally back in Aruba--practicing the jibe moves in the kitchen...but then doing the shoveling moves out front (getting rid of the snow)--it warmed up here to about 40 degrees F.

also, I checked my equipment--I had bought a new boom about 5 years ago--a north sails progression comp A 140-190---so it looks like that one will work with the sails. Are you familiar with this product? From what I could briefly see on the internet it looks like it is an aluminum boom, but I can't seem to found out if the "comp" means it is part carbon (?)--but it feels a bit heavy--but it has a good mast clamp, and looks to be a reasonably good boom.

Anyway, I am very happy that I have something to get me really back into it, and eagerly look forward to summer here, and getting in the water. Alan is also excited about his progress. We both appreciated the very fine, detailed instructions from Dario--I also had lessons from Andrew, who gave me a lot of really good tips also.

Say Hi to everyone! Thanks again for your help!

Hello, Hiltje, Wim, Paul, Quincy Sarah and Francis: aav

Thank you for your friendship and hospitality during past december. It was great times windsurfing and talking with you at your Aruba Active Vacations. That opportunity was the trird consecutive vacation we, my son and myself, spent in Aruba, and for sure we will returned back, again, in the next future. Thank you, again.

I wanted to say thanks for the lessons last week. Great instruction, great weather (I just came back home to -45 degrees Celcius)!

I would definitely like to go back and try much more windsurfing, and also try kitesurfing... Next time I'll put more sunblock on hourly so I don't burn half my face and have to leave early. :-)

I hope to come back soon, and will definitely recommend you to others!

Thanks again!
Patrick

Hi Wim ;

It has been already one year since we visited beautiful island Aruba. We are exciting to come Aruba again from 11/28-12/12 this year. Looking forward to see you and your staff soon.

Best Regards,

I was kitesurfing with your group last December - Sheri and Helen from Canada. I moved to Barcelona in August and started kitesurfing again this weekend. I was surprised how quickly it came back. I didn´t have to go through the pain of hours of trying to get up on the board. I was kiting with Monique in Barcelona - who used to live in Aruba and now her and her sister Sonia have a kitesurfing school in Barcelona.

It was a great time kiting with you guys and was very excited to start up again! I think I´m addicted!

Happy Kitesurfing!
Sheri

Hi Wim

Hope everyone is doing well over there. I just wanted to thank you and your team for the excellent lessons and service in Aruba. We are back in cold country - It was 5 degrees this morning and I miss Aruba already. We had a great time and really want to come back next year. Take care and say hi to the gang for me.

Tot Ziens!

I wanted to thank you guys for the lessons back in January! (JAN 11th,12th 13th AM session)! I told the guys I’d let them know if (or WHEN) I got a chance to get my own kite gear and get out back in New Jersey. I got the gear and was able to get out this past weekend. Still a lot to learn but I thought you guys would like to know that I’ve continued the sport after my three days of lessons while in Aruba.

I hope to get to Aruba someday b/c the water in New Jersey, as you’ll see in the video, is not as clear and is quite cold this time of year! Fun stuff though! Thanks for the intro! Video

Got back to Canada to freezing temperatures and a foot of snow.
Thanks again for great rentals and instruction. I can't wait to come back.

It was GREAT!
Much better than the landsailing in Bonaire! Thanks for a great experience!

Hello Wim,

Thanks once again for providing useful advice and friendly service during my recent stay on Aruba. It seems like I’m back in my “windsurfing home” whenever I get off the bus and walk up to those blue trailers on the beach. This year the wind was very consistent - in the 17 – 22 knot range throughout my two week visit, even during the midday hours.

Since returning home we have been hit with over 35 inches of snow! Aruba .. take us back!
All the best to you and your staff.
